I have been using this pharmacy since I first moved to Gravesend. They are professional and friendly. The pharmacist can give me the prescription even without asking for my name. They know their customers well. Even I have moved away from the area, I am still using their services.
I have to add to this review as the little boy running this chemist refused to dispense my prescription because he doesn’t like my review
This little boy (I mean man) is clearly suffering with SMS (small man syndrome)
He puffed his chest like he was preparing to fight because he doesn’t like the review we left.
This little boy spoke to me like scum today simply because he could.
He completely abuses his position and the little power he has.
To refuse to dispense a prescription that is desperately needed is in line with his horrific attitude.
He has singularly run down this chemist to be an awful place to use.
The little boy pretending to be an adult is extremely abusive and shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.
I have personally witnessed him being rude and arrogant to many customers.
Horrible service by owners son, he speaks to people as if he’s above everyone.
Rude & belittling and expects customers to put up & shut up. I strongly advise anyone to use another pharmacy.
When I was leaving every customer said that the owners son is extremely rude but they’re stuck with his awful attitude as it’s their local chemist and they need to be able to get prescriptions local. Disgusting attitude especially considering they are dealing with vulnerable people who have health issues.
Unfortunately I can’t rate zero stars which is why I have put a 1 star rating.
Both my sister and mum goes there for their usual prescriptions, they're always very efficient and quick. They are very professional and organised. They even delivered my mum's prescription to her when she couldn't pick it up herself, free of charge. They're a very dedicated and caring team of professionals, who are knowledgeable and always ready to help.
Today I rang up asking if my medication was ready to collect. The doctor had issued the script earlier in the morning. They told me they could get it done by 5pm which was ok the last time I needed my meds. Unfortunately this time I completely forgot to order in advance so urgently needed my morning dose. The lady on the phone agreed that I could have the medication I urgently needed before 1 pm and that I could collect the other three items later.
When I got to the pharmacy, the assistant at the front was very kind and helpful however the pharmacist was so rude. Said he can’t disrupt his workflow for people like me who forget to order my medication in time. WOW. He showed no compassion for someone who is chronically ill and just simply forgot (I confess I am only human) I told him normally you can take a script in to any pharmacy and they prepare your meds then and there. However, because I have four medicines on my script he said it’s too much and it disrupts his workflow which is why I have to collect later.
My Doctors on the hand were very understanding and wrote my prescription straight away so I was shocked with the abruptness from the pharmacist. I told him that this would be the last time I would be using his pharmacy and he was so arrogant to say that he didn’t care and didn’t need my script. He didn’t even care when I said that I will be writing a review about his service.
I’ve never had a problem with Pelham surgery which I used before I moved.
Ok so this is an update to my previous review . Pharmacist was very rude and obnoxious on my last visit . The counter women were very friendly though. Seems they have improved since I was last here glad to not have to speak to the pharmacist. They are able to get the medications needed even if they don’t always keep adequate stock or make a hash of supply (no 500mg pills so they delay the order to get some in stock when they could just issue them in 250mg and double the order and state to take two on a label) how hard is that. But anyway meds when needed like any other pharmacy.
A1 Pharmacy. Seem to know lots of their customers personally, as well as their conditions and medication. Family run with son being as good as his father! Always friendly and ‘on the ball’. All Pharmacists and assistants are
5 star. Have no hesitation in recommending them.
Best ever, pharmacy, in my opinion. Professional, polite staff.
