£6 “large chips”? Absolute joke. Forgot to give me my scampi too and would t refund unless I drove the 20 mins back.
Sea Salt and Sole is much better
got the chance (finally) to stop for supper tonight. gotta say that was THE best battered sausage sausage supper I've had in a very long time. I'm all for "cook to order" but on the flip side, not everyone has time to stand and wait. had choice of a fair few things ready and the chips were lovely. l must comment on the staff, they were super polite and friendly, made me feel welcome can't wait to come back and try something else. keep up the fabulous work!!
Only been in here a few times as its out of my way but the fish and chips are fantastic, they seam to have a good system running as well cause it doesn’t feel like you wait very long
Not impressed tonight Fish good quality but batter not crispy Definitely didn't look or taste as if it was freshly made Chips were dreadful Skin on some of them and definitely were not freshly cooked Very disappointed and won't be back
I like that the fish is cooked in front of you. Chips are superb. Very friendly staff. I go out of the way and drive 5 miles to by from there. Highly recommended. Addendum: its the cleanest fish bar this side of the black stump! Still great dish suppers.
Chips were good, chicken burger was a bit disappointing as was the deep fried pizza. The sausage was great!
Staff are always brilliant. Haven't ever had an issue with their food.
Its a take away only so you are just in a q so atmosphere is what it is
However food very good & pretty quick service too
