Absolutely recommend Newark Alterations. I phoned first before taking two items to be altered/mended and took them at lunchtime and they were ready to collect two hours later :-) The best service at a good price and will definately be using again. Keep up the good work :-)

I was looking to get a couple of 3-piece suits altered after putting on some poundage. I found this guy on Google. He is based in the middle of Newark; I parked a little outside and walked in. The shop is full of clothes and machines, a real Alladin´s cave. After trying on the various garments, he advised me of what he could do and when they would be ready. The price quoted I thought initially was a little high but after seeing the finished articles and the amount of work involved (7 alterations, 6 garments) it was only fair. I left a deposit which wasn´t required but I thought it was the right thing to do. I will be using him again; he was extremely polite and did exactly what he said he would do and the turn-around was fast. Don´t forget your pick-up ticket, you will probably need it. Highly recommended.
Had my alteration done quickly and neatly within the week and was decently priced. Very polite when dropping off and picking up my trousers.
