Wow what a difference this place is under new ownership - I had avoided it for almost 20 years until by chance I found it had new owners so tried it again a couple of months ago. I think it's the best in Mickleover now - portions are pretty much the same as elsewhere at a fair price.

This was undeniably the worst Chinese I have ever had and most of it went in the bin. I have never taken the time to write a review before but feel so let down by this experience. No bags of prawn crackers to top it all! I certainly won't be returning- the Chinese in lady bank road is superb!
Feb24- just been back as heard under new ownership! Ribs were good but the rest was awful and got binned again!! Gloopy and far too salty! Back to happy house for me which is fab!
Tastes very salty/like msg and gives a tremendous thirst. Not the best
Terrible. My chicken curry is in a jelly type substance, chicken is pale and odd looking. Curry sauce isn't a curry sauce but a blob of jelly.
Been using this place for over 20 years and used to have great food. They had the nicest curries and the sauce was lovely.ive heard its changed ownership, new owners should have kept original cooks in place. Wont be going again ! Stay clear awful

Awful food. This will be the last time we have food from here. Don’t know what’s happened as it used to be brilliant.
The food was cold, and tastless. Chips tasted like they’d been cooked a few hours before and were then microwaved….
No veg in the chow mein no veg in the beef and cashew nuts … this is our usual go to and the last few times have noticed no veg added. It’s like they don’t care.

Really tasty food with fresh ingredients, reasonable price and ready quicky.. absolutely loads of vegetarian options. Best Chinese takeaway we've had in a while
