Have been using this pharmacy for a couple of years now and it is hit and miss, however recently I've found it to be a bit awkward. I am epileptic and get my prescriptions monthly. When I go to pick up my prescription recently it's never ready, and if I put in the request 4 or 5 days ago then really it should be ready. I have enough to last until the end of the week but I've been told they have the prescription but not the product and that now I've got to waste my time going to different pharmacies on a weekend away stressing myself out. I understand that the NHS is under pressure and that's just not okay, but people with medical conditions are also being let down and now I'm worried about my weekend even when I ordered my tablets as soon as I could. Just frustrating.
They never answer the phone! I’ve been on hold for over 20 minutes!
Wow, we’ve gone back to the 1970’s…closed for lunch.
I went to pick up an urgent prescription and got there at 1.10pm only to find out they now close for lunch for an hour from 1-2pm!! Two other customers arrived roughly the same time, also needing prescriptions. We could see the staff chatting in the shop.
I went back 50 minutes later at 2pm and there were at least 4 staff working so no reason they couldn’t stay open and stagger their breaks.
Also, to make matters worse, we phoned about 12.50pm to see if they’d received the prescription and they didn’t mention they were closing for lunch when we said we were on the way to collect it. So annoying and such a waste of time ????
Some of the staff aren’t very welcoming and simply ignore you instead of at least acknowledging you whilst they are busy. Never ready on time either
I recently called at the Wilford Pharmacy on Wilford Lane on Friday 30th June about 10am to collect a prescription.
The person serving me was rude, abrasive, inconsiderate, condescending and very unpleasant. She made me feel devalued and upset.
I have been using the pharmacy for several years and the service has significantly reduced to a level that is unacceptable. There are some staff that treat customers with respect and value customers.
This was a truly unacceptable level of customer service and I would like to understand why you have staff members who think it is acceptable to treat paying customers so badly.

Just waited 20 minutes trying to query where my repeat prescription ordered on the 6 th of February was
Hi very poor service, 12 months back, used to order my repeat prescription go to the chemist 48 hours later it was ready. Not any more u have to go in and wait every time even if u ordered a week earlier. Not Happy at all with the service.
Staff are very helpful and yes now having to wait longer for prescriptions more recently but I understand the pressures. However, my husband has gone to collect my meds after work today, i checked opening times and it says open until 9.45pm on a Sunday...it was 6pm when he arrived and they were locking up!!
