As they say, I've tried the rest bur stay with the best.
We have been using Mundford Fish Bar for some time now. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Photo - large haddock and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce (half a portion of regular chips, mushy peas and curry sauce, except fish as shared with wife). Portion size of chips is very generous and we only order a regular portion as we don't need a whole one each. always very good quality and cooked fresh. The fish was not greasy at all, fried to perfection. The chips were very good and tasty. Mushy peas and curry sauce are great. Really good place to get your chips but please note, the plate was ours at home. Five stars is a fair rating.
Great fish & chips, chips and batter were just right (not soggy but not too crispy) and the fish was delicious.
Cash only but they do let you do a bank transfer from your phone.

I had lovely fish and chips at this place today and my friend also had tasty chicken shish, kebab and it was the best ever. The service was very good and friendly.
We were on our way back home, still had over an hours drive left and I remembered someone recommending the chip shop in Mundford, so we popped in.
Excellent fish and chips, cooked to order so hot and fresh. Definitely recommend you to visit if in the area.
Can't complain in any way. Solid, absolutely solid little takeout.
Donner and salad with pitta, and separate chicken and chips.
I cannot complain in the slightest. Salad is as fresh as the day it was grown, the donner is thick, thin and as it should be.
Sauces are spot on. Personally I like my garlic a little more garlicky but a solid 10 anyway. Chilli is great.
Chicken...bang on. Can't fault it.
Chips...clearly hand cut and tasty, but they took the back seat in this meal.
Definitely worth a go if your passing through, staying local or just want some decent grub.
I honestly can't complain.
Compared to what I got in thetford last week. This is leaps, bounds and a country mile above and beyond.
Easily the best chicken shish I've ever eaten..
