I wouldn't recommend this garage at all .
I paid this garage well over £200 last year to fix my car, I took my car back several time to them with the same problem, it was obviously they hadn't got the equipment or the know how , how to fix it, they never even offered me my money back, all they did was make up some excuses
I have only been going to the garage for over 30 years and found this garage and staff to be really friendly and polite. I am Asian and never had any problems at all with with racism there. They have a very good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and they charge a reasonable rate. They are one of the best local garages in the West Midlands.
I have been coming to this garage for about 10 years. I recommend it to everyone in my family, but also to friends. I am not English and I have never felt that I was discriminated against because of it. Everyone is always nice and competent. It's total nonsense to call these people racist.
I've always brought my car here for it's MOT and wouldn't take it anywhere else. Staff are friendly and polite and I've never been made to feel out of place or uncomfortable. As a woman who has no clue about cars, garages can feel quite intimidating and I've never felt like that here! I highly reccomend moxley road.
Lovely people they do a really good job and treat everyone respectfully.
I read a review that said they were racist I had to laugh because if you know Alan and Pauline you would know how ridiculous that comment is.

My girlfriend visited this poor excuse for a service garage a few months ago. Car went in for a normal service. Upon return of the car there was noise within the air con to which they blamed on water in the A/C unit. One of the fellas accused her of lying about the noise. Funnily enough within a month the air con had packed in completely. No paperwork was provided for the service. And to make matters worse, we had asked for the brakes to be checked. Mechanic stated there was more than enough left on the brake pads, Despite the car screeching when coming to a stop. We’ve now been left heavily damaged brake discs due to their poor vehicle knowledge. How can a mechanic not see worn brake pads. ALSO for all of the black people who are thinking about visiting, I probably wouldn’t. Some real ‘GET OUT’ vibes. Old white racist staff, not pleasant at all. I’d probably say that he didn’t mention the brakes as sabotage simply because he doesn’t like non-whites.
Will not be returning to this KKK owned business, I suggest you don’t either.
Just had my car MOT'd today- excellent service as usual! Have been using this garage for over 20 years, and they're still the best around! Proffesional, friendly service at excellent prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Before booking my car in I spoke to a man that said my service was £150 incl VAT. Got there and it was £150/£160 exl VAT and my service came to just over £190. £30 more expensive than kwick fit.
After getting in to my car I heard a very fast clicking sound, went back in to reception and two men came out. The older man came out and said “there is no noise, you are lying and making things up, I can’t be bothered for this” and walks away. The other man stayed and said the liquid they put in from the service is dripping through the vents and that’s why it is making that sound. I am extremely upset with the customer service I received from the older man and I deserve an apology. Speaking to a paying customer like that is unacceptable.
Take your car elsewhere the prices are ridiculous.
