Incredible food. Lovely people too. Ordered way too much for two but no regrets and got some delicious leftovers. Really good value for money. Can't wait to go back ????
In a word.....exceptional! Food was incredible and reasonably priced, drinks were also quite cheap compared to other restaurants. Even if you're not vegan I would recommend the vegan platter, it was delicious and huge portions! Staff were lovely and loved talking about the traditional food!
Stepping into this Ethiopian restaurant is like a warm African embrace. I have visited Mosob a few times now, and let me tell you… The vibrant colors and rich aromas promise an authentic experience. Each dish, from the perfectly seasoned meat to the hearty vegan platter, is a testament to Ethiopia’s diverse flavors. The injera, with its tangy taste, is the perfect vehicle for the array of stews. Ending the meal with a traditional coffee ceremony, complete with incense and robust brews, is the cherry on top. It’s not just a meal; it’s a cultural journey. A must-visit for foodies!
Underrated gem ???? 3 of us shared a meat platter and another main ( we left it up to our waitresses recommendation ) so so tasty! Amazing atmosphere and I have been thinking about this since. Slow to come about but the food was so tasty so obviously made very fresh! We also had traditional Ethiopian coffee too. Reasonable price. A must visit for some African food!
This is where I take my non Ethiopian Friends when I want to introduce them to Ethiopian food. The place is cozy, very relaxed and well decorated if you want to get a hint of our culture. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Taste is also original with a bit of reservation. I love all the foods in the menu. I recommend the vegan platter for vegans and anyone who wants to be introduced to the flavors in Ethiopian cuisine. My personal favorite is a mix of Shiro( Chickpea stew) with lamb Tibsi( fried lamb served on a clay pot). My friends Enjoy the Tej as well. That’s the traditional drink along with some local Ethiopian beer. Traditional coffee ceremony is something you don’t want to miss. It will be served to your table with some popcorn, incense and kolo. It’s a must visit place in Glasgow if you want to experience flavor burst in a good way.
Delicious food, abundant portions (one plate would have been enough for us two), particular spicy coffee and friendly staff! All this for a very good price (39£ for a portion of vegan samosa, 2 platters and a whole coffee pot with popcorns)! Super recommended
Great food. Probably the best Ethiopian I've had so far. Everything was cooked with little oil and spices but tasted heavenly! Also reasonable price considering that it's in Glasgow.
We had the vegan platter and a selection of vegan and meat starters. Seriously delicious! Will absolutely be back - a lovely change of pace to the usual food around the city. Prepare yourself for the longest post-lunch snooze of content!
