We've used Morton Motors for many years and found them very friendly, affordable and flexible. They go out of their way to find solutions to any issues you have with your motor vehicle.
Being a short distance from town also means we can easily access the garage on foot or by bike to collect and drop off vehicles which is just perfect.
A part on the car unexpectedly broke whilst on the way to work. I called to see if they could possibly fit the car in. They garage manage to fit it in straight away and fix the car the same day. Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend and very grateful.
Have used the garage for several years for different cars, with the same result.. Steve and the team have always given good service and full explanation of wha needs to be done and why. I dont see any reason to spend for factory/dealer servicing when these gutys can do such a good job. Recommended.

All work vehicles have service/MOTs at Morton's, as well as our personal vehicle. Excellent customer service, often accommodating our needs at short notice. Trustworthy and good value for money.
I have booked my car for a handbrake adjustment and everything was fine. Understandably Morton Motors could not tell me what the issue was over the phone. I sought out an independent advice and quick assessment, which suggested that the handbrake was too tightly adjusted and needed some fine-tuning. I called Morton Motors to inform them that I had someone to have a look at it to help them out to clarify the quote and time needed. When I showed up for my booking they told me that they have taken somebody else in and that they assumed that I had it resolved even though I never actually cancelled. As soon as I objected to that and demanded them to fulfill the booking they became aggressive and rude and told me that I should take it elsewhere that they would not work on my car. I found their behavior utterly unprofessional and verging on appalling. One would expect them to be attentive, admit their mistake and an urgency to rectify it but I have seen none of that.
Appalling service - they went for the most expensive component
- thank goodness I got another opinion and the problem was fixed for £50 - don’t want anyone else to be subjected to such a terrible
experience……..
