The wings were definitely too
Old or kept long in the fryer as the whole bread crumb was over fried. Chips were good with peri peri masala.
Chips were somehow both dry and soggy at the same time, and difficult to swallow without a drink. Vegiburger was weird, like mash inside, it had ketchup and burger sauce on it rather than the mayo and lettuce in the picture. Not impressed with it at all. Maybe the chicken is good but I doubt it's good enough to ignore how terrible the rest is. The vegiburger was cooked in the same oil as the chips and other chicken pieces, not that it bothers me but it might bother others.
Decent but bossman doesn't work well under pressure sometimes, underfrying the chips.

It's one of the best Morley's around, cheap but prices have gone up (used to be 4 wings £1 now 3 wings) wings can be perfect, spicy and big, but its hit and miss. Friendly staff very polite and they always don't mind if you ask for side breast etc. Again chicken pieces are very good but all depends on what time you go in as it's been very dry before. Chicken burgers are average, quite small but cooked there and then so can't complain too much. Overall worth going in, plus it's the only chicken shop in honor oak, 7/10

First of all I have a soft spot for fried spicy wings that are juicy on the inside and crispy batter on the outside. Second, I have wings regularly. Usually, I won't go for fries. Just wings please. If you are like me avoid this place. It was one of the worst fried food experiences I had in long time. Wings were soft and spongey with several broken bones, covered with grease soaked batter. The interior was very dirty. On this occasion I had for fries, which were fine... and to be honest it's the only reason it pushes for 1 star review. 0 stars for wings. Ain't coming back.
I love Morleys but when they serve chicken that's been stored for too long that's not right. I expect fresh meat. Should of taken it back but it I waited till I got home. Staff are nice though...
