I ordered 1. Chips with cheese 2. Seafood Bucket(little pack seen on photo) 3 . Fish and chips.
The cod and chips wasn’t really bad and not good either. I could find a bit better with the price. Some of the chips were overcooked and hard.
Sea food bucket was a small for around £6.50 but it did taste good.
Chips with cheese, not impressed with this one, the chips tasted so dry.
Hope this can help improve.
Great chippy excellent food freshly cooked, although they need to do something about the the young girl behind the counter having friends and family hanging around in there and being a good established she should not be wearing nail varnish and should be consentrating on service customers and not chatting. Also putting 2 pieces of fish in a bag together is obviously going to be a problem sticking together. Not happy.
I brought chips, curry sauce and battered sausage tonight and the chips weren’t brilliant at all and as for the curry sauce it was like brown water the only thing edible was the battered sausage i wont be buying from here again
The worst fish and chips I’ve ever had delivered!! Unedible! Soggy fish stuck in a paper bag cold chips! Do not order from here!!
Lovely chips. Regular fish and chips reasonably priced and plenty of scampi if you order that. Loads of chips.
The food and service was good but the food was expensive and portion sizes small . I spent over ten pounds on Large Cod and Chips but to be honest it was very small & disappointing. I still felt hungry after and feel it was a waste of money . I know prices are on the rise but I expected better from a local chippy . Will go elsewhere next time ..
Just went to this chippy having never tried it before but reading decent reviews. Have to say I’m massively disappointed. The regular fish I had was wafer thin and caked in grease, fingers we’re basically shining from the amount, didn’t finish it. I also had ordered a portion of chicken nuggets and was given garlic mushrooms, which I am allergic too mushrooms.
The best fish and chip shop in Southampton the blond lady who serves me is soo sweet she gives you exactly what you want and the service is world class!!! Give her a raise the food is mouth watering sausage in batter is crispy and not too oily I honestly cant stop going here!!!! Great good outstanding service EAT HERE! Xx
