Went to Bridgnorth to go for a nice walk along the river. Decided we wanted a nice sandwich before we went and we found Millie's place. They do a lovely Afternoon for two people for £22. That also included a drink each. The sandwiches are lovely, nice fresh thick bread, we had ham on ours and it was nice decent ham. Came with a nice salad and coleslaw, included was also two scones, with jam and cream, two pieces of cake and some strawberries. The staff were really friendly, food was great and I'd definitely come here again!
Called in for a late lunch today. Horrible miserable day and Bridgnorth was quiet. I had a full breakfast which absolutely superb. My wife has sausage egg and chips. Wonderful. Had a bit of a giggle with the staff. Everything was freshly cooked and piping hot. Couldn't fault it! Will visit again, no doubt.
Rude service, wanted to move table but they told us no because it wasnt cleared, instead of just taking the few plates off. Then when another table wanted to move they were happy to clear it for them. We were treated differently to everyone else, and only reason I can think is that we are not English. They opened a window right beside us even though it was obvious we were cold, but at that point I didnt want to argue. The food was okay, nothing special and the scone were stałe. Not coming back here.
Quite average really.
Unfortunately the coffee ☕ was not very good that goes for the Americanio and cappuccino , Way to weak for our liking, definitely go to the coffee ☕ bars further down the street if that's what you want.
Food was ok , we had a cheeseburger ???? and a toasted panini which was the chicken melt.
My wife was happy with the burger and the portion size that came with.
My chicken melt portion was good with the sides but it was just covered in a ketchup sauce that made it too saucee unfortunately.
The staff were all quite friendly but they did forgot us at the end as we just went up to the counter in the end to pay.
Overall don't expect to much ours was neither that bad or good.
We used to use a different cafe in Bridgnorth, but the last time we went, they stopped serving breakfast. Called into Millies on the off chance. What a find. The food was great and value for money. We have been several times since and enjoyed our visits each time.
My mother and I visited Millie's and enjoyed a traditional English Breakfast with a large pot of tea. The staff were friendly, the food was great (generous portions and well priced) and we were very happy with the Taylor Swift playlist. I would certainly visit again.
Walked in and woman behind the counter was rude about only having a table for two, even though we’re only two adults and a child, there was seating outside didn’t even offer that. Unfriendly atmosphere went to Platform 10 much better service.
Great little tea room/cafe in the heart of Bridgnorth. Friendly staff and great service. Freshly cooked delicious food at good prices.
If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular visitor.
