Heartfelt Appreciation for Millie's Kindness and Community Spirit
I am a local resident at St Mildred's Bay and a regular at Millie's, a place that not only serves great food but also harbors a wonderful community spirit. Recently, my mother underwent surgery, and during this challenging time, Millie's went above and beyond to show their care and support in the most heartwarming way.
Elton, the manager, upon hearing about my mother's difficulty in eating post-operation, arranged for a special gesture that left us deeply touched. Daniel, a member of the Millie's team, came to our door with a thoughtful gift - two different types of homemade smooth soups, carefully prepared to ensure my mother could enjoy nutritious and easy-to-eat meals. His well wishes on behalf of the entire Millie's team were a beam of light during a tough period for us.
But the kindness didn't stop there. The following day, Max, the chef, and Lucy, a waitress, personally visited with a lovely flower plant. This gesture of bringing a bit of beauty and cheer into our home was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated.
I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone at Millie's for their genuine concern, kindness, and community spirit. This experience has shown us that Millie's is more than just a place to eat; it's a pillar of support and compassion within our community. A huge thank you to Elton, Daniel, Max, Lucy, and the entire team at Millie's. Your actions have truly made a difference and exemplify the best of what a community can be.
What a fabulous little place. The seafood and fish was superb - fresh and prepared and cooked perfectly.

We came in here for a quick drink, no plan to stay or eat. But we found such a welcome atmosphere, attentive staff, good wine and beer and so we asked for the menu’s. Order grilled fish and a burger and it was lovely. Good quality food, served pipping hot. A call out to both Matt’s and Daniel for brilliant customer service. Would definately recommend and will be retuning.
Amazing location, came up from London for a day trip out and I’ve got to say this place was amazing. The staff and food was outstanding. We ordered a number of there small plates followed by a few fish mains, kids meal where a very good portion.

Another great time at Millie’s! In addition to great food, the variety and quality of the small plates on their menu is fantastic, it’s great to see them encouraging local talented singers. Well done Ruby, you were brilliant!! And well done to the two young dancers!
Outstanding takeout. We just arrived for the weekend, jumped on Deliveroo and after a bit of research thought we'd order from this delightful place. Haddock, homemade tarter sauce, scampi, prawns, monkfish, mushy peas - all excellent
Really nice place with great views across the bay, nice food at a reasonable price and friendly staff.
Had a full english here and eggs royale and two capuccinos for £22.50. Orders took a while because of issue with the ordering system, had some free coffees and staff apologetic but we still didnt wait a super long time really.
Great place to go for breakfast then take a walk on the beach or swim, would reccomend. Dog, kiddie and family friendly.
Best fish & chips in a very long time, location is amazing staff are wonderful. I will be back used to go next door but Millie’s is the best of the best. Keep up the good work everyone.
