I think the new management and staff are fantastic and so much more friendly and efficient than the previous managers.
I used to have to wait always before for a long time. Also the pharmacist are so much more friendly and explain what the medication is about and do so with empathy.
Extremely impressed.
I have been using this pharmacy for 15 years and only since Deepa has taken over, have I been properly made aware of how the repeat prescription process works.
I was never able to get my monthly meds in one go, for some ‘reason’ or the other, but now my medication is issued in full and in a timely fashion.
There have been queues on the odd occasion and I imagine that is because, with like myself, time and consideration is given to everyone.
The staff are friendly, always smiling and go out of their way to provide an efficient service.
The new owners arrived with an outstanding reputation, I for one can see why!
I’ve used this pharmacy for 35 years, & it was always a pleasure with the previous owners who have now retired. Now it’s beyond appalling. They never have my items in stock, there are queues going out the door and it takes absolutely forever to be served. I for one and my family will now be collecting our scripts from the GP and going elsewhere as this is now become ridiculous.
I have been going to this chemist for years, the lady who runs it has always been very helpful and has gone beyond what she needs to do to sort my prescriptions. She has always been very careful with my prescriptions as well. Nothing has been to much trouble. Sometimes you can't please everyone and we all make mistakes at times I go there regularly and I have never seen anyone made to wait, everyone is served in turn.
Inept, rude and dangerous. In two years I've never had a straight forward engagement with the the owner or her staff, examples include; not having the prescription (even after being confirmed by gp) not stocking required medication, giving incorrect medication and medication without instructions. Avoid - the additional time taken going elsewhere is well worth it.
The pharmacist is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She goes out of her way to make sure customers get the medication they require and when they want it. The pharmacist and staff are always happy to offer advice on a wide range of matters and if they can't help will direct you to an appropriate organisation that will be able to. The actual shop sells a huge range of things from cosmetics to vitamins to cleaning products.
The pharmacy provides brilliant service and is an important part of the local community.
Not surprised to read the negatives comments. The owner should be ashamed of herself. She has no clue how to run a chemist. Messing up prescriptions and making people pay for the wrong things and ripping them off. She was very rude to a deliver driver who was making a delivery, if tío want a good chemist and good service then this is not the pharmacy for you. Do not spend your money here as she will profit from you.
No wonder the google rating is 3, realistically should be 2 or 1 .
Rude. I collect a prescription weekly, and due to the nature of my medicine I am treated like a second rate customer. She will serve everyone else who arrives after me before eventually preparing my prescription meaning I'm left standing there for up to half an hour sometimes.
I understand that others have complained about this poor behaviour too, which needs to be dealt with by the relevant authorities. Vulnerable customers are particularly at risk of feeling "put down" publicly.
