Fantastic food and service! I highly recommend, even if you just want to go for the food. Would probably be lovely if you were walking or biking along the greenway and wanted a place to stop for lunch.
Love the old train carriage setting!
We walked the Greenway from a similar cafe at the other end, and this rather impacts our review. Milcote was tired in comparison, the decor uninspiring, and the cakes were pretty miserable. The coffee is mediocre. The staff were at first a little unhelpful and in a rush to close up (even stating the toilets were out of order when they weren’t just to hurry this) but they did warm up and start to really take care of us. The owners are actually the main asset to this cafe and I wish them luck. It still makes an ideal day out to have the two carriage cafes 2 miles apart and I recommend showing both your custom to keep these independent businesses here for many years to come.
Popped in for a breakfast yesterday what a great little place , its very different to a normal cafe nice little experience with great quality food a solid 8.5/10 if hashbrowns were an option would definitely be a 9.5 but that's my opion

What a fantastic find! We were made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The food and service was excellent. We would highly recommend visiting this unusual cafe in a beautiful spot.
This is the best cafê anywhere. Easy parking, a friendly welcome, the best food, hot drinks and cakes, warm n cozy with a wood burning stove, free newspapers. Every time I go there it's perfect.
Great place to rest your feet at the end of a walk. Good food and welcoming service. Well priced for the food you get ... so well done. If you area passing...give them your business :-)
Stopped at this cafe yesterday, 16th October, for a much needed brekkie. I had the full English and Lissa had a bacon and egg bap together with a tea and latte. Wookie was offered a biscuit too. The food was delicious and served by friendly staff who clearly love dogs. Also took home a slice of lemon curd cake and that was equally as tasty. Thoroughy recommended.
