Really lovely fish and chip shop in Deal and recommend it. Fish was excellent and the batter was delicious. I had the small chips and large fish and it was a tough finish, so maybe you could get medium fish small chips. Great place to get fish and chips when visiting. I didn't get a photo as I was soooo hungry I ate it too soon but got a snap of the inside and you see the excellent fish at the right of the photo

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Restaurant could do with a bit of background music and it’s quite a quaint space.

By far the best fish and chips I have had in Deal and in the whole south of England. I look forward to this every time I'm in Deal. Tasty fresh fish with crispy batter fried in a nice tasting, clean oil and the best chips - soft but also fried in a clean, tasty oil to give them a decent bit of crisp on the outside.

We’ve been visiting Deal for many years and always looked forward to going here for dinner.

Sadly, the past 2 times, we’ve been really disappointed. The fish was great, but the chips were dripping with oil and the portion size was so small, Literally a 1/4 of what you get in other chip shops - And I’ve been to many! We even ordered large. My family were hungry an hour later. Ended up going home and cooking burgers. Come on middle street fish bar - SORT YOUR CHIPS OUT ????

Fish very small and thin, skin left on and completely unseasoned. Battered sausage was tiny and curry sauce is the thin Chinese style - not the proper thick stuff. As other reviews have said, the lady on the till was rude and surly. Overall very disappointed!

This is probably the best chip shop in Kent, if you can use it do it!

Wow! This place past my expectations, from the outside it looks like any other fish and chip shop. But you can sit down at the back of the shop through a side entrance. Pleasant service, service with a smile, which is rare these days. I ordered small cod and chips, when it came it looked more like a large portion, fantastic! The taste was also fantastic succulent cod and crispy chips. I would definitely go there again.

Only one disappointment, no lemon to squeeze on my cod, I put that down to me not asking, otherwise just perfect.

You can park your car next door to Astor Community Theatre. 3 min from there.

The best fish & chips i have had for a long, long time. Batter was fresh tasting & crispy. The fillets were chunky and very white. Exquisite taste.The chips were also excellent. A distinctive taste. We had a takeaway and ate our meal on the beach.It was that nice my wife and I felt obliged go back and pass on our thanks.
