I was recommended to go here by most of Mere in Wiltshire.
Genuinely I had work done there last Friday, I took the car away to find an issue and went straight back on Monday with it, they fixed it free of charge. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but because I had to return, just a small oversight by the company that they didn't bleed the air out of the brakes after changing and adjusting them.
Old cars need this kind of older technology, so you're in good hands regarding newer cars, and yet they can still cope with the old school too.
We had a puncture on the A303 and the tyre was deflating quickly. They kindly fitted us into their busy schedule and did a repair. Saved us! Thanks so much!
Driving up the 303 when warning lights popped up on the van , found mere garage just off the main road . Sorted the vehicle straight away and on my way in 15 mins . Tyre pressure warning light . Good old fashioned friendly service with a smile , very rare these days . Top marks guys , very impressed .
Was down on holiday when the dashboard lit up like a mechanically terrifying Christmas tree. Limped the stricken thing to mere garage on the basis that it was nearest, and the engine seemed likely to fall out at any second.
Took it in on Sunday evening. In spite of them being obviously busy, they managed to diagnose and fix the problem by Monday evening, allowing us to get back on the road and continue our break. And it was very reasonably priced for the work done (in spite of the fact we had no choice)

Having discovered an issue with our exhaust late in the afternoon before a bank holiday, Mere Garage got us in and sorted it out for a very reasonable price within 2 hours. Unbelievable service. Brilliant.
Husband and I had a blowout on the A303, not far from this garage, the guy was excellent, he came to our rescue for not-so-sensible people that remove their own jack and locking wheel nuts! He inflated our flat spare tyre and was so much quicker than the usual national recovery companies. Very happy customers!
Trusted place to come. From the annual MOT to other minor problems I know I can drop the car in and get a good job done for a fair price. All the family bring their cars to Mere Garage.
