The food is so delicious and the fragrance is chef kiss!! The lamb served is very tender as well. Surprisingly it’s quite empty when we went, too underrated. For those who wants authentic Indian food, this is definitely worth to try.
The flavors are really good, but the prices are pretty steep (18 pounds for half karahe and without Roti/Naan). Plus, they're pretty firm on the menu, even if you want to tweak something, they still charge the same. Thankfully, during my quick stop, I stumbled upon even better choices elsewhere.
I also tried chai — Not recommended
Gulab Jaman — highly recommended
Karahe — recommended
The food is only good so far but the would end the morning nasta for like 15 mins earlier which we bad for slow eaters the Morg Channa is very good Nehari is actually nice.

Nice restaurant, reasonably priced. I tend to always over order, so it's good to be able to take away the rest.
Food was okay but for the price I did not get a big enough portion at all. Paid £16 for a tiny plate of rice and Chicken Madras. Asked for extra spicy curry and it was still mild. Was still starving afterwards so went to get burgers at a different place. Would not come again
My first time to eat Pakistani food and it is now my favorite. I had the Karachi Nehari (lamb shank) and OMG it is absolutely dilicious. My wife had the lamb chops which were likewise amazing but we couldn’t differentiate the flavor from Indian cuisine. The food is heavy with deep flavors so if you have a weak stomach this is probably not the right place for you.
Lovely food! I had the Lamb Karahi, Pulao Rice, Aloo Paratha and Sweet lassi. All the items were delicious and nicely prepared/presented. Interior is also very elegant, I’ve been going there almost every week and been served by the same waitress since, her service is always astonishing, she is very welcoming and very attentive. One of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh!
An ok place.
Their karahi is better than any other karahi we have eaten at Edinburgh. Although that said still not really a karahi from technical perspective but beggars can’t b choosers. 25£
The nihari had too much turmeric and best avoided. Roti Edinburgh has the best nihari.
Drinks 3£/ can. Another rip off. Avoid soft drinks
Bread was disappointing in size at 1.99£. Extremely small and v need six!!!
Overall bill 51£ for (2 adults and. 2 kids). Pretty expensive

So we returned again to taste again and see if there was improvements.
So things have certainly improved. The karahi were good but still expensive at 30£. Good for 3-4 adults.
The biggest improvement was in bread - size has certainly improved and comparably the price hasn’t increased so much.
Biryani was ok.
We also had starters such as chats which are basically the same - samosa chat with samosa and so on. Try one.
Service was very slow even though it wasn’t busy. But probably a lot of take aways.
This time were a party of 6 adults and 6 kids. Overall bill. 250£ - still expensive I’d say. But quality has certainly improved.
So I’d certainly recommend it. !!
