Been using this takeaway for years, but tonight's food was way below par. Rice was wet and had no flavour, the sweet and sour sauce was like water and the chicken balls were over cooked and very small.REALLY DISAPPOINTED
Worst Chinese I've had the displeasure of order, the food was so bad i did not attempt to eat it. Some of the food we order chicken gyoze had gone off. Shocking establishment
Ordered from this place yesterday amazing food but limited on what you can get, very quick service but not the best noodles amount of different types and so it the tai green curry which is too peppery.
My take on the food, was poor very
Unauthentic, my family owned a Chinese Restaurant. Particularly the Peking duck it was pulled off the bone it was dry and you can tell what part of the duck came from, there was no crispy skin. London China Town, here I come.
Placed 4 calls all spaced >5 minutes apart and none were answered. As a result, I had to walk to the shop to order and wait 10 minutes when there appeared to be no problem with the phone or staff. Furthermore, the change was for 50p and I received 2 20p coins instead. Given my age, I assume the staff saw an opportunity to save 10p on a £10 order and had no hesitation in taking it. Despite the good food, I was severely put off by the abysmal customer service and can't bring myself to give any higher than 1 star.
My favourite local Chinese, decently priced and the food is great. If you lean more towards a 'dirty chinese', full of flavour and bad for you in a good way, this is the place for you. Good dumplings and I like their vermicelli noodles.
I have been ordering from Mei's House for years. Always excellent food and lovely couple who run the business.
Always recommend to those new to the area.
What a wonderful Chinese. Great customer service and friendly staff. The food is always fresh and hot when delivered and full of flavour. This is our go to Chinese in the Twickenham area! We can’t recommend them enough!!!!
