I recently contacted Martin the owner of MB motors regarding work I required to be carried out urgently. Martin responded immediately and suggested I drop off my car the following day first thing and advised his team would do their best to fit me in ! The job was completed that day with a complimentary wash and valet thrown in ! Very impressed! Our spare key was also delivered to our home in Ayrshire without us asking . Delighted with quality of work and customer service . We will be back Martin ......
Since my car went out of its warranty (meaning I could get away from Arnold Clark) I've been using MB Motors for servicing and repairs, and I recommend them. Great service from Martin and the team. And top advice when discussing things that need or perhaps don't need doing to save a few vital pounds. Having the car dropped off at my house at the end of the day is a bonus too.
Using for 4 or 5 years, never had a problem. They may not be the cheapest but as far as I'm concerned you get what you pay for!
Previous experience with "cheaper" garages has led me to conclude you're better off paying the extra.

Helpful, honest and friendly, with plenty of good advice/options on the cheapest way to get work done.
Work always completed quickly and with very reasonable costs. Will continue to use and recommend.
Two days before Christmas, I'm a new customer, and Martin and his staff came to my rescue. I'm back on the road and was very impressed with the service provided. Will certainly be back, although I hope not too soon
They don't / can't afford the correct manufacturers diagnostic software (despite a large sign in his door saying he does which is illegal false advertising) this meant they caused thousands of pounds of damage to my electric roof through roughly man handling it and not running the correct Mercedes software to run the roof up / down procedure.
Shame as Martin is a great mechanic he was Trained by George Morrisons garage in Rutherglen who my Dad knows as he worked the car trade for 50 years and George was a gent with a great name. Sadly when my car was in MB Motors Martin was on holiday. It took him 4 weeks to locate and fix a simple broken wire that powers the window a £200 repair, although at one point I was told I needed a new cam control unit costing £990. This soon changed when we get my Dad who ran a garage for 50 years down to have a 'word' with Martin.
M|B motors are good for basic repairs tyres, breaks etc. But don't use him for complex electrical problems as he does have the diagnostic sortware and he will charge you massive hourly rates whilst he 'tries.' To work the electrical fault out.
He was also arrogant and ignorant, refused to admit he'd had caused thousands of pounds of damage to my roof and actually had the audacity to say I had anger issues when I understandably called him to complain.
A cheap two bit garage fine for basic tyres brakes hence the happy reviews. But my experience was a nightmare. He essentially con man and a pest. Also willl try and use non manufacturers parts.
An awful wee chap all round.
Avoid - absolutely avoid this place! Untrustworthy people running this garage - they will tell you that parts of your car need replaced eg calliper, when you take it to another garage they say that is not the case at all. They try to get money from you for work that does not need done. It’s also extortionate for any work they do.
