Absolutely wonderful service. We had a problem with our car as we were passing Dorchester on a journey to the New Forest to visit family. We tried to find a garage open on Saturday afternoon for some help and Martin’s Motors, although technically closed, offered to have a look at our car and help if they could. They managed to sort out our car for us to continue our journey.
Absolutely brilliant service, above and beyond, and they saved our weekend.
Would recommend without hesitation.

Very friendly and helpful garage, helped us out of a pickle and repaired our Kuga’s dpf pressure sensor, it now runs even better than before! Very grateful for their help.
Used this garage for my MOT and had no issues. My car came up with an emissions error which looked like I just needed to add ad blu but it sadly didn't clear the error. I took it into martins motors to see if they could figure it out. They said its the nox sensor which would be £311 to repair. I said ok, they said it will be done by Thursday. Rang Thursday and the part was difficult to remove so they've ordered an extra part but it will be done by morning. I asked again for the total cost but the guy said I don't know I'm not working on it. I received no further phone calls from them regarding any additional cost. I walk in to collect my car and I'm slapped with a bill for £1048!!! I said how do you expect me to pay this amount 1 week after Christmas? His reply was "can't you put it on a credit cards"? I said "no absolutely not" I don't own any. I asked why I wasn't asked before the work was done and he said "well the part was hard to remove so we ordered another part" I was in complete shock. I said I cannot pay in full today. He gave me weekend to pay it and wouldn't allow me to pay it across 2 months even though I never agreed to the extra work!!!! I cannot trust any garage that thinks it's ok to bill someone nearly 4 times the original quote. I've since spoken to garages within the area and each one is shocked and said it is not acceptable. I have paid the bill in full but ive been advised to go to citizens advice which i will be doing. Its such a shame as the guys seemed lovely and the garage its my local garage but I will never use them again.

My son took his Peugeot 207 in for a new clutch. Tom did an amazing job plus stayed on til 8.30pm to get the job finished as the car was needed the next day. He also found some major safety issues with the brakes and informed us straight away without doing the work plus a price. Tom went above and beyond, couldn't have been more helpful would highly recommend him. Very happy with the work. Thank you
Have used this garage since I came to Dorchester 10 years ago. Brilliant service, very reasonable prices and they are always quick in a crisis. Would definitely recommend they even do long wheel based vans.
A fantastic, honest service. My brakes were making the most horrendous grinding noise - one of the brake pads had worn down to the metal. They fitted me in immediately, took me right up to the car on the ramp to show me exactly what the problem was, and repaired it there and then. They were friendly, courteous and, above all, honest.
