We were staying locally for a few days when our car needed a repair. We were concerned as we were travelling home in couple days
We found Mark on Google. He diagnosed the fault reassured us that it was repairable, ordered the part and booked it in for repair the very next morning.
He phoned us after a couple of hours to tell us repair was complete.
The cost was was very reasonable.
100% recommend.
Guess I won't be the first tourist in distress to call in for something doing and certainly not the last! After my break pad warning light came on - and with less than 48 hours until we journeyed 160 miles home - I called in to see Mark after a quick look on google. He kindly fitted me in the next morning and was so polite and professional. I was reassured only the rear pads needed replacing, so I wasn't ripped off and taken advantage of. If you're stuck whilst you're up in the area, give Mark a call. I hope I don't have to use his garage again, but I'll not hesitate to take my car there again if needs be!
We were 2 days into our holiday when one of the engine cylinders started misfiring. I had a plug in diagnostic tool which confirmed which cylinder wasn't working and then found Mark's garage on Google. Was able to get the car to Mark first thing on a Monday morning, really nice guy who took note of what was being experienced and then asked me to leave the car with him. Mark & team fixed the car the same day by changing a faulty ignition coil. The car was perfect after that and we were able to continue our holiday without worry. Mark Armstrong helped us out of a right pickle! Our windscreen wipers completely stopped working on our Friday trip back from Scotland. As we were waiting for rescue and wondering whether to get towed back to Manchester or stop at the b&b we had paid for already, I contacted Mark who assured me that he would be able to sort out our problem on the Saturday morning. He was polite and lovely and sorted us out so we could return home on the Sunday. I will always be grateful for the extra 2 days of holiday he gave us! He managed a temporary repair that got us home and was very reasonable in price. Thank you so much!!
Helped 2 touring damsels in distress and fixed our problem in 20 minutes and didn't rip us off. Such a lovely young man who dealt with us too. Definitely worth the visit if needed
My campervan broke down during our summer holiday and needed a new clutch. The mechanic was so helpful, ordered the part in and got it all done the next day, at a very reasonable price indeed. Highly recommended!
Mid way through a long journey rear brakes grinding meant needed garage visit. Approaching Haltwhistle near business closing time contacted Mark who arranged the job to be done first thing the next morning after a very early parts delivery.
