Got chicken pakora omg awful over cooked was like eating deep fried plastic. At times thought I was gonny choke so binned it, shame staff really nice the place is spotless won’t be back

Simply awful, the worst chippy ever. Overcooked and probably cooked an hour before I got it. Chewy batter and cold. Chips were not great either.
Passing through (it probably will ????) never again.
The shop is absolutely immaculate and the staff very helpful and polite. Best chippy we have all had in such a long time! 100% we will be back.
Went there as family had verbally recommended. Got there and fantasticly clean,equipped and well staffed with a queue of customers so was hopeful. Got 3 battered fish suppers and two kids meals, unfortunatly one fish was so over cooked even the cod had turned hard and crispy and was unedible and one of the others where the batter was so soggy it was just mush. One positive kids meals were okay and actually really good value foe money.

The fish is brilliant. The batter has so much flavour and was cooked perfectly. Crisp and tasty.

I came in and I purchased some Ice Cream with sauce on it and very quickly after consuming I began to get a sore stomach which then led onto being stuck on the pan for a good hour and oh boy it came out like Niagara Falls all over the walls and everything. First time going to this chippy in years and will most definitely not be back.. can't even get their Ice Cream right.
Ordered special fish and pizza crunch. Pizza crunch was floppy and dripping in grease (no crunch)
Special fish was covered in black bits.
Called to query the fish, as to why it was covered in black bits,
the woman who answered instantly took to the defensive explaining that they use ‘homemade’ breadcrumbs.
I stated that never when cooking homemade breadcrumbs on haddock at home has it ever came out black. I also advised I would never order from them again, I hung up the phone as the rude, aggressive woman went into a rant.
Avoid unless you enjoy your food dripping in grease and rude aggressive staff!
Decent handmade pizza always hits the spot , I'm wanting those thrice fried chips yours never cut it when delivered unfortunately....
but the pizza is pretty good .....
the pastas sauces seem a little to sweet for me but are good for your pizza base
