Really nice local cafe. All the cakes are homemade and top quality. Great choice of tea and coffee. Doubles as a shop for the village and valuable to the local community offering all the essentials and more. post office service twice a week to send parcels. Really homely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Really lovely little cafe stop for us on our bikes. Friendly staff and quick service. Thank you, see you again soon.
We were visiting Kirby Hall and realised it didn’t have a tea room so after looking at google maps decided to go here first, I’m so glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed, there was an excellent selection of home made cakes or a good alternative menu of sandwiches and other items all reasonably priced. Throughout the lady serving was available if needed but also left us to enjoy our early lunch. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again if in the area and would definitely recommend this place.
Great little place, can be a bit awkward to park but worth it.

What a jewel! On the High Street of a gorgeous village, so unlikely and yet perfect. It is a local community owned and run café serving good drinks and home made cake. The community feel makes it stand out from the usual commercial enterprises. Friendly and welcoming service. Thanks Google Maps you did us proud! ????
Hidden little gem in the village of Gretton. We were visiting Rockingham castle and was struggling for a coffee shop that was open. Did a quick search and found Lydias which was just under 3 miles from the castle so off we went. A warm village welcome coupled with great coffee and lovely cake. All the other food that came out the kitchen looked good aswell. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We are so lucky in Northamptonshire to have so many lovely villages and hidden gems like this place ❤️
Only had takeaway food and drink, but what a lovely little coffee shop!
