Update a year later; We visited again and again it was superb. This is likely to be an annual visit as Purdy's never disappoints!

Penryn Camera Club visited Purdy's on Saturday. Most members had a cream tea, some had a quiche. Every single serving was delicious! The quantity was good and the scones melt-in-the-mouth. With almost a teapot each, and top-up hot water, it was almost never-ending tea. Scrumptious. Totally recommend when they open next year.

My daughter and I had lunch here today, we were very impressed with everything, apart from our tasty lunches. All facilities were provided . We finished with our choice of teas there was extra water and plenty of milk. It was so peaceful and if it rained a gazebo was there.if you are in the area do visit .

Nice place to stop after a walk around coombe creek, excellent service...2 really lovely scones, jam and decent amount of Cornish clotted cream plus pot of tea for under £5. Bargain ..best scones I've had in a long time.

Will definitely visit again

First time visit but certainly not the last. Our friends told us it was excellent and they were certainly right . Open to the public only Sat and Sunday in the Summer but food very good and hospitality the same. Should not be missed.
