Not great really to be honest. Guy got order wrong & just served me chips, when I asked for cod & chips. Requested lots of salt & vinegar, which wasn't done. Probably the worst chip shop chips I've ever had. Have never put chips in my food waste bins till today. Cod was only one size, small but to be fair, was OK taste wise. Better than the chips, but that's not hard. Think I should have waited for my local chippy to re-open, The Panda House, which is easy better than this. Wish I heeded advice & went to the chippy in Woodfarm. Heard its top notch ?
I visited this totally renovated Fish Bar yesterday and was very happy with the nice and careful service (for me and for other customers that arrived while I was there). The place looked clean and new indeed. There is space for 2-3 people to wait safely in pandemic times. I confess I forgot my mask: but they provided me with a new one! Although I arrived late (around 21h30), they fried new fish for my family, with delicious chips. The portions are big: two of us shared one. I wish success for the business!
Absolute junk don’t waste your money on this rubbish they cannot cook food or follow simple orders I asked for extra lettuce this is an absolute joke
Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The food was super fresh tasty and came with a lovely conversation with the team. There’s a brilliant selection on the menu but we went with a classic of fish, battered sausage and chips - all was 10/10 highly recommended!
Very happy and friendly staff especially the boss who’s been working in chip shops for nearly 30 years. Good prices and yummy food. I even got a taxi to this place today to get food because it’s so nice! Good job.

Absolutely amazing food! All cooked from fresh but didn't have to wait either. Up from London and went here as heard how good it was. The chicken wrap was one of the best I have had. Packed full of chicken and salad. Reasonably priced too.
Best chippy around! Chips are amazing. Great variety on their menu. Lots of Vegetarian options (Burger, Wrap, Pie, Salad) plus, they will go out of their way to try something new. I love Pea Fritters, but they're very hard to find - here, they were happy to 'give it a go' and made me one there and then, as a trial (no charge!). It was absolutely lovely ???? Lovely people, great food!! Would highly recommend.
Fish and battered sausage cooked to order. Enough for 2 adults to share the cod and a large chips. Shop looks clean and freshly decorated ( unlike before) with new tiles etc. Manager was very cheerful, and helpful to all customers besides us. Good to have this shop back on form!
