Very nice food but it was either half missing or I got ripped off. 25 quid for crispy duck, seaweed and rice, the duck was just duck and pancakes, no sauce, no cucumber no onion, I’m lucky I ordered the seaweed to give it some flavour. Edit: Now I think about it, the duck was meant to be 10 pound on the menu I don’t even know how the total came to 25. Do NOT recommend
We were gutted when Ling Hu closed last year, and more so when it reopened under new ownership and our first taste back was incredibly disappointing.
However, some month's later, we decided to try it again... and then again, and again, and again.
4 stars because I haven't tried their improved hot and sour soup yet.
Next time, I guess... looking forward to it!
Went in the first time last week.. love their honey & chilli sauce dishes and noodle box! Best special fried rice I’ve ever had, highly recommended.
Very nice Chinese takeaway ,they do noodles in them throw away boxes which I like. Good selection of dishes owners very friendly and reasonably priced.
I've only been the once but thoroughly enjoyed my Singapore Fried Rice, which was spicier than I've had from other Chinese take aways but was spot on for my personal taste. The shop itself is very clean and bright and there was a steady flow of people collecting their food orders, which I think is always a good sign as it shows the shop is a busy one. As it's on the Chatburn road out of Clitheroe there's no need to negotiate the town centres one way system. Within a hundred yards of the shop there is a petrol station and round the corner from that an off licence, so you can pick up a bottle of wine to go with your Chinese ????
I’ve had sweet and sour tofu from here a number of times in the past and it’s been good.
Tonight the meal I’ve had was disgusting. The tofu was ancient and the sauce stomach churning.
One mouthful and straight in the bin. I can’t get the taste out of my mouth!!!.
I won’t be going here again.
Our food was excellent and was ready 25 minutes from placing our order. Thank you ????
Sorry but found very expensive compared to others in the area. Frozen chips and overcooked. Came to nearly £22 and they took the prawn crackers off me as I only had £20 on me. Every other Chinese gives you them on the house when spending that much.
Very disappointed.
