We got a chips and curry sauce on our way back from the tube. Normally great service here but curry sauce was like water when we opened it, we'd expect better
Appalling . Old dirty oil the cheapest of the cheapest of ingredients are used and the hygiene is appalling. Exactly what I expected it to be. Come on use your common sense or learn the hard way like I did.
Excellent no-nonsense fish and chips, cooked fresh by friendly staff. This place has a lot of regulars, which must mean they're doing things right.
Used to come here for chips, lately I came and the chips were not fresh and less then usually. Looks like they put the prices up for lower quality and smaller amount. This is the last time I bought the chips here. Maybe new owner? Would not be surprise, but if there are still the same owners shame on them then
Portion size gone down and price gone up.

This ISN'T even called lighthouse..it's ocean breeze. Expensive, slow and only provide decent portion when challenged
This place is great! The staff, first of all, are absolutely lovely. Once, I went in just to get fish (I couldn't afford chips with it, but I didn't tell them that I just ordered the fish). The guy said if I liked he'd throw in a few chips for me, ad he did! :) The food is all really good quality, and the place is very clean. Whenever my relatives visit from abroad and want to taste "English fish and chips" I always take them here :)
Great experience. Chips were lovely, very hot and fresh. Limited seating in the store, one table of two and then another table for four. Service was really good, greeted on arrival and departure. Really good menu offering all the traditional chip shop items. ????
