A great place for a good old traditional fried breakfast with all the trimmings. With choice of beans or tomatoes and bread and/or fried bread. Lovely staff and enjoy our visits. Very affordable. Close to all the amenities of Aberdare Town center.
Basic chip shop with pleasant staff in a friendly atmosphere. The food is freshly prepared to the usual chip shop standard for eating in our takeaway, and service is quick enough even at busy periods. Child friendly. The outside seating area is normally available. Not as good as it used to be but still a reasonable able basic standard.
One member of staff very rude. The wife asked how long the food was going to take, we had been waiting 30 minutes. She was told to have patience. And to stop being so impatient. With that we cancelled food payed for are drinks and left. Do Not Go There Till Staff Have Respect For Customers, and know how to speak to them politely. If you want that sort of service or if you would like a shouting match with staff here is your place to go. !!! Service level -100%

Warm and welcoming. Cheapest jacket potato in town - but they are microwaved not baked.
I hadn't been here in a very long time. Can I say how freindly and helpful the lovely ladies working here are. The food was also very tasty. Thank you ????
Watched the chef microwave a plate of chips. Smell of cigarette smoke was strong. Staff cleaning with strong smelling chemicals too. Staff were friendly.
Been twice there now with a work colleague and will visit again if im in the area, nice food and friendly enough staff, prices are very reasonable too, we both enjoyed our generous portions. Really don't understand how some people can give a 1 star review for this restaurant, I've had by far worse breakfasts at other restaurants to what they serve here. Give Les's a try ????
Worst dining experience in Aberdare - possibly even Wales! Ordered pie & chips at lunchtime (place suspiciously empty despite everywhere else being busy) - pie was microwaved and burst over the plate, chips were greasy and soggy. Absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, chips repeated on me all day! An experience I'd rather forget. Avoid!
