We've always gone to Lee's for a takeaway for the last 15 years. We tend to phone our order in to prevent waiting on collection.
Service is friendly and efficient, and the food is great.
Whenever testing a new Chinese place I always get the most common order and if they can’t do that well it’s a sign that they can’t do any of it well. So I went for sweet and sour chicken in batter and fried rice. The chicken was dry, not a big deal. The sauce helped but the sauce was overly sweet. Just tasted like sugar. And the egg fried rice was bland. It was just there. No flavour or depth. Really not impressed but it was cheap. Wouldn’t go again unless it’s an emergency. If you want a Chinese it’s my recommendation that you travel.
Just ordered and not impressed. The giant spring rolls had only a filling of beansprouts. Ordered chilli shredded beef. No sign of chilli and just some burnt beef in watery vegetables.
Only thing worth eating was the prawn crackers. The rest is in the bin. Waste of money.
chicken balls batter was burnt and chicken was dry, the egg fried rice was hard almost like the grains hadn't been cooked and the prawn crackers had loads of bits not cooked so I nearly broke a tooth
Bought noodles, about 80% is just bamboo shoots.
Well I'm going to be very honest after seeing some real poor reviews I was hesitant to try this take away, we had it last night and it's the best one we have had since living in catterick the food was beautiful, the only thing I can say that with the salt and pepper chicken if they put more meat in that would be a ten out of ten as the meat is perfect, however it lays on a bed of onions and peppers but too many The bbq sauce is beautiful as well! Will be deffo back our fave Chinese here now 9/10
First time in my life that I've had sweet gravy. Also I only ate here 2 nights ago and have been on the toilet since then. I'm not saying its because of their food but it was the last thing I ate on monday night and on Tuesday morning I was in agony with stomach pain
My favourite bar none. Friendly staff, great tasting food. Never had an issue; no long waits, no missing food, nothing over or under cooked, no sickness, no dirty workplace... Absolutely everything is always consistently top notch. No duck fried rice though!
