Sehr schöne Sommerterrasse in stylischen Ambiente.
Classic French style bistrot, with the usual appetisers and main courses elegantly presented, located in central Geneva just beside the Four Seasons Hotel. Welcoming staff and service make for a very pleasant dining experience, and this place is a little gem, whether it is for catching up with friends or for on the go business meetings. They also have an attractively priced menu of the day including a starter, main and desert. I went à la carte with the traditional œuf mayonnaise to kick off, followed by the steak tartare, and concluded with the house “Charlotte” tarte, a zesty lemon custard, meringue and crumble combination.
All in all, if you are in the neighbourhood, well worth trying out. You can’t go wrong. In the summer, the experience is enhanced with the terrace.
One of the reasons why I love the Christmas break are the presents I get! This year, my aunt surprised me with a spa voucher for a relaxing experience at Bain Bleu (Quai de Cologny 5, 1223 Cologny, Switzerland). A gorgeous spa and hammam with a bistro on their third floor, this place is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a stressful week (or a stressful semester in my case).
After receiving the star treatment in their spa, we went up to their rooftop bistro to order food and beverages by the poolside. The matcha latte: the perfect blend of finely ground tea leaves with velvety steamed milk and a touch of sweetness, made for a satistying experience that completed my rejuvenation at the spa. The chai latte was even better - despite not tasting like the authentic chai, one could taste the different spices including cinnamon and cardamom come together for the most comforting of drinks! Paired with a raspberry tart featuring a buttery and flaky crust and a silky vanilla pastry cream, the meal was truly enjoyable and utterly relaxing.
The thoughtful gift to this gorgeous spa not only pampered my senses but also added a touch of bliss to an already cherished time of year. Should you find yourself in Cologny looking to unwind after a long day, then Bain-Bleu is the place to be. Supremely relaxing and definitely recommended!

A hidden gem in the touristic part of the city on the waterfront. I frequently come here for delicious food, cozy ambiance and charming service. My favorite dish here is their escargot, but everything else is great, too.
Very busy when I came in, said I had to wait. And I did wait for quite a while with no acknowledgement from any of the busy wait staff. The food was better than the wait. The pumpkin spice soup was awesome, the bread accompanied with it was perfect. My entree, perch filet, was good but too heavy for me. But it is very popular so just my preference. A good experience but there are better restaurants in the area.
