We were coming back from Edinburgh to England and we just stopped there as we were hungry. Food was amazing , server was a kid. He was kind and fabulous at his job. I will make a stop next time if I am travelling through again. Must try the lemon cake. Food had good options for veg and non-veg .
Lovely little tearoom for all, quality, made from scratch food, you can taste the love!. Can get busy with passing traffic, walkers, cyclists, people just out for a drive. Book to avoid disappointment. Daily specials as well as the usual breakfast, sandwich, menu, everything delish but, leave room for Susie's special cake of the day!!. Great food, great banter, great wee place!
We descended on the cafe this morning (12 of us) for an impromptu lunch while out for a cycle. The cafe couldn't have been more helpful, even when one of our party ate the wrong lunch ???? First class service, great food and a lovely welcome. A gem of a cafe in the Borders ????
Nice place for a stop off . Inside and outside seating good food and nice staff . Better parking in the village hall carpark across thd road . It's dog friendly aswell.
Tea rooms in Borders villages were a big thing years ago. My aunt ran one at Tinto. So finding this one was a treat. Friendly staff, relaxed, nice cakes. Meals are also available and afternoon tea can be booked in advance. Recommended.
A lovely, bright cafe in the village of Broughton. Lovely cakes, scones and coffee.
Service super friendly.
Stopped for lunch when passing. Very cute inside, the food was lovely. Dog friendly. They also had an outside seating area.
Whilst in a holiday we've visited here twice. First time I had the goats cheese tart and my husband had scampi & chips. Second time I had steak and caramelised onion ciabatta with chips, Mr K had chicken supreme. All four meals absolutely delicious and great value for money.
The premises are extremely covid safe. Super clean, distancing observed, contact details collected and a very well thought out paying process.
We'd highly recommend this place. The staff are super friendly and they sell artwork of local artists very reasonably priced - we ended up buying two!
Charlie and the sheep will be very happy with us. Thanks Susie x
