We were out in Clapham yesterday for my birthday, and after we’d been at bottomless brunch we fancied some Karaoke. My friend found this place quickly on google and we decided to head over and see what it was like. We arrived as they opened and had one of the best nights of my life - it was such a friendly atmosphere and the drinks were great. As we left the people working the bar came out and said thank you, which was not expected and made the night even better. It seems they were quieter than usual, which if true is sad as I’d definitely go back again!
Nice place to dine and wine. I mainly go for East Africa cousins. And great place to watch sports.
There is an open Mic on Friday and Saturday till 02:00. I love it. Fantastic transport services within the Bar man. The family business are a wonderful people to socialise at all times.

The rudest staff I have ever dealt with. The owner displayed clearly sexist behaviour. Never come here!!! Encouraged gender mixing when group were uncomfortable. I would give a zero if I could
I've been walking past Laryn Cafe Bar for years, always busy, on my way to Clapham High Street or Brixton. But I love Eritrean food and my usual place is too far to just pop in. It was a lovely meal, we had the mixed platter, spinach, chickpeas and lamb. Owner was super friendly and chatted us through the menu. Good tunes. Big portions. We'll definitely be back!

AWFUL- AVOID. I don’t usually write reviews but the rudeness of the guy behind the bar has motivated me to do so. My friend bought a pint which was off and he asked for it to be changed, the guy got aggressive and defensive and had to be negotiated with to get a different drink in exchange. Totally bizarre, total lack of customer service skills and seemed just angry to have people come into a totally dead bar. Don’t go
