A traditional British pub with a great atmosphere and helpful staff. Perfect place to have a pint with friends. Warm and cosy at night. Very busy and loud, however!
Lovely old school pub. These wonderful places are sadly becoming a thing of the past. Great cheery landlord and a lovely chilled atmosphere from the off. Sat in the big beer garden under a umbrella, as today is a very hot day. Lovely pint of Amstel and a pack of porkies, just what a pub should be like in my eyes. No frills, just about the beer on the pump and a great host. 5***** for me.
Lovely little "village pub" in Bath. Rough and ready but perfect for a no nonsense pint. If you don't want frills this is perfect. Warm and friendly.
Kind of old fashioned pub, for blue-collar clients! Not posh and shiny and new, but friendly and comfortable.
I helped at a dad's football skittles night here, putting pins back up and whatnot. Very good service, lovely skittles lane and a great buffet for food ????
Traditional unmolested pub with proper cider and beer. Delightfully untrendy and unspoilt. My only misgiving is no simple food. I understand why - insane bureaucracy imposed by Council bullies - but perhaps encourage drinkers to buy wrapped rolls etc, locally and allow their consumption in the pub. Our session had to transfer to the Star (an outstanding pub) owing to hunger. It's a pity since the Larkhall deserves to prosper.
Dropped in for a pint of Guinness on Tuesday night as daughter on a social with bath npl’s under21’s - warm welcome and an excellent pint.
I went in with my 6 month old, fantastic pint of Guinness and very friendly staff. My lil one needed changing and the incredibly helpful staff sorted out a spot for me! Much appreciated in these old pubs.
