A perfect place for anyone visiting Bigar...
Great aubergine curry and lovely home made veggie pie. No room for the gorgeous cakes and scones this time! Fab new decor. Friendly owners and staff.
The kind of place where you won't forget your first visit. The food and drink was perfect. The picture is of a Venison and Pork Sausage Roll (beautiful) but The Chocolate Christmas Cake was especially delicious. But what made the visit special was the hospitality. You were made to feel like one of the family and not just a customer. What a gem.
Lamingtons provided me with the most delicious selection of dishes for mains and cakes for a special birthday lunch at home, it all looked amazing and tasted absolutely delicious. If you are wanting something a little special and different then you own't be disappointed!
Delicious homebaked savoury and sweet food, beautiful relaxing setting, very kind and friendly hosts. Incredibly diverse international food themed evenings. Cant wait to come back and try more!
Stopped on the way passing through Bihgar on our way down south. The food and service were excellent. Their homemade version of the Hunters pie was outstanding! The smoked salmon quiche was also delicious and the decaf coffee and earls grey tea were both excellent. Definitely will be back on our next journey.
Happened to walk in for a cuppa today. 23/4/23. Had a bite to eat also, the sausage roll was epic and very tasty. My wife had curried chicken pie, also delightful, both with salad. A generous portion, fairly priced. A wonderful little cafe with a great relaxed atmosphere and amazing hosts. Everything homemade. We wil most certainly be back.
