Staff was friendly and they have good variety of foods, but I didn't like the coffee which wasn't grinded freshly and just tasted like milk foam.
We finally find a very diversified grocery shop in Cambridge,we find everything what we don’t think about.Italian and Spanish grocery….
It's a beautiful little gem of Italy in Chesterton. Had the pleasure of attending their first wine tasting event, hoping many more to come in the future. Good range of food, both fresh and also packaged items like snacks or sauces, olives and various salamis/sausages. Also conveniently located next to the Hungarian shop that way you can sample both countries' authentic food very easily. Definitely worth a visit
Delicious coffee, hazelnut croissant and lemon canoli. Clean, fresh, modern interior with a real Mediterranean flavour. You sit surrounded by Italian grocery products as you listen to Italian and Spanish music in the background. Like a mini holiday despite grey skies outside.
Wonderful chocolate cake, reasonable prices. The canoli looked amazing but they weren't covered and I saw a fly or 2 around them, would have tried one too if they had been... my only criticism.
So far, the best coffee in town! I actually had to have two cappuccinos, one after the other, as it was so delicious. At the moment there is one big table with several stools, so you sit with others, but it’s cool.
Anything you could ever need from Italy, from dried food to staple goods to chilled lasagna and other delicacies! They have literally everything, even very nostalgic products and some more hard to find items like wholewheat pasta. And- fresh vegetable from Italy!
The lasagne is incredible - like being back in Italy! Have been told the bread is delicious, will be trying that next, along with the veggie lasagne on Weds/Thus. Top food, friendly staff, great addition to Chesterton
