We had a very bad experience in this restaurant. First we couldn't find it because of a car parked inside the restaurant, we thought it was a garage! But two friendly ladies came out and told us they were open. We asked for very (VERY) spicy Tom Yam prawn soup and a platter of raw salad vegetables with fresh fish sauce dip. We confirmed 3 times that we wanted the soup to be double spicy, not the kind of "medium spicy" they usually serve to foreigners. What we got was a soup sweeter than honey, and no trace of chilies. There was so much sugar in it, it was impossible to taste any of the Tom Yam herbs. We complained and the women said we could just chuck our sauce in the soup to make it better. Then we got grilled prawns instead of veggies, while we had told the lady twice that we didn't want to order this. We got it anyway and were stuck with it. All the prawns (including the ones in the sugar soup) had their intestine canal still inside and it was a disgusting experience overall. Not particularly fresh, probably the worst quality prawns we ever had in Thailand. We complained about not getting any vegetables and the lady told us they were a sea food restaurant, so they didn't have vegetables. The table next to us was served a colorful platter of vegetables minutes later. The bill was 480 THB, which was more than any of our other meals in restaurant in the region, where they served us sometimes double the number of dishes, and always super delicious, to our utmost satisfaction. We felt misled and ripped off. There are so many good restaurants in this area. To have an experience like this really left a bitter taste.
