A very friendly Greek and Mediterranean eatery, welcoming and family feel. Souvlakis, either with chicken or pork, are our favourites.
There is no way to pass through Banbury and not visit Koukouvagia Caffe. The food has the original taste of Greece, coffee is exceptional, Eleni and Lazaros always are treating me as family and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming as any other place I know. Koukouvagia is the Best Greek cafe in Banbury! We visited today for the first time and were unexpectedly surprised. Authentic Greek cuisine, delicious, freshly cooked, very generous size dishes and the best latte I have ever tasted! Traditional Moussaka is must try. Very friendly welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The coffee itself is served in a verity of Mediterranean styles which is especially smooth and classically aromatic finish. Highly recommend meeting the Koukouvagia coffee connoisseurs

I fell in love with this place. The owner is such a sweet lady. We were staying in Banbury for just a few days and visited Koukouvagia to buy Greek pastry. Everything we bought was delicious but chatting with the owner about Greece and Balkans was the best part! It is a pity we live pretty far from Banbury. I would go there at least once a week.
This place is amazing. Something completely new in banbury. Authentic Greek cuisine so delicious. It will remind you of your Greek holidays. Savory and sweets so tasty and the owners so friendly. You must try it. Take away or delivery. Once you try you will go again and again.
