Whilst getting through to someone on the phone can be frustrating at times, this is a reflection on the demands of the health service and not on the staff at the practice.
I have always been greeted by helpful staff and the Drs have been welcoming, attentive and reassuring to myself, and family.
Really pleased with the service we have received here.
Dr Dixon has to be most arrogant rude Dr I have ever met . Every other GP is amazing and this was my first time meeting her .
She looked at me like dirt and did the same to my 2 young children .
Made me feel inferior and like we were bothering her .
I will be putting a complaint in writing , it's put me off returning to the surgery
This used to be a good practice but in recent years the service has gone downhill to the point it's an absolute joke! The doctors (who are impossible to get an appt with) are lovely, as are the nurses, but the overall service at the practice is appalling! You have to fill out an online form with many irrelevant questions before you are offered an appt, which is usually with a nurse & not a doctor. I have got to the point I have given up as its too much stress trying to get seen. We are hoping to move the family to another practice.
District nurses are amazing, my dad has had them in for the last 6 months and their care and attention is brilliant
Can never get through on telephone to make an appointment in the mornings.when I did eventually get through in the afternoon, I was told to phone back again the next morning. It is like they take the phone off the hook.
Also had letter to make an appointment with the nurse in june, was told that she was on holiday and I was told she would not he back until August. It is a joke.
Doctors are great when u get to see them but some of the receptionists who answer the phone need a lesson in phone etiquette if they record all their calls they'll see that there's a bad attitude with some of them not saying them all but they need to weed out the bad eggs after all its meant to be a caring establishment ,and you would think they would do something about their staffs terrible behaviour with all these bad reviews they're getting but it still goes on .
Terrible doctors cant even book an appointment over the phone they refer you to an online form when you require an emergency appointment luckily im computer litirate but what about pensioners etc no thought for them ive recently moved doctors who offer over the phone appointment services cant recommend this enough!!
Great Doctors. Can always get an appointment fairly quickly (I’ve not tried to get one on the same day, however), but the staff are all friendly on the phone and Dr Duggan is great and very understanding and seems like he genuinely wants to help.
