Kings Head Hotel Ltd

Lovely staff but shocking hotel, dirty carpets, bed so uncomfortable as springs digging out of mattress, place smells of grease,shower dribbled out and room cold. It looks uninviting from the road. It has great potential but needs some serious tlc and is nowhere near worth 90 a night.

Absolutely amazing! I held my wedding reception here and they went above and beyond! Everything was perfect and just as I wanted! I couldn't have asked for more. The garden is a stunning location to hold a wedding and the landlady blew it out of the water! She's one of the nicest friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!

Excellent and friendly service throughout our recent works Christmas meal....a room to ourselves.....it got rather jolly with us singing and dancing!!

We popped in as we had a friend singing there and were pleasantly surprised. Nice pub, good atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Will definitely pop in again next time we up in Dereham.

Been in a couple of times, first time I heard some ginger guy with dreadlocks absolutely rocking his guitar! That was GREAT!

Then last night I went in and heard the geriatric day out that was the band they had on.

Terrible!! I didn't even buy a pint. Instead I went to the cherry tree and watched a decent band instead.

One less star for that abysmal choice of band.

I'd pay to watch that ginger fella properly though...

The room does not have any standard at all. Bathroom.door broken, no power for the shower wall pInt8ng popped out, curtains so old and not fitted properly, inside window spiders webs are all over the place. The bed is wobbly, and the marltress is so soft you feel you lying on the fram of the bed. The carpet floor seems so old and it's so dirty and horrible. There is a drain pipe pass through the room. There are 2 side cabinets on the corner, not beside the bed, and already in use for the cattle and tea jar. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

We had a 2 night weekend break here. We were in a very large family room above the main bar. Our greeting was friendly and helpful and the room itself, although dated in decor, was very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was lovely,,and again served by friendly staff. The accommodation suited our purpose and we would use it again.
