Stopped by for a quick bite whilst visiting Birkenhead. From the get go the shop looked good inside Great array of salad on display And All looking fresh. A very minimalist option on the menu always a good sign. Went for the mixed shawarma in their homemade pitta. The pitta was delicious on its own. But the king was the shawarma. Juicy, the spice danced in my mouth. cooked perfectly on medium heat. All being mixed in with every chew the fresh salads. Red cabbage onion gherkin and garlic mayo and spicy sauce with an exception of a few jalapeño. It were that good me and my brother went for round 2 after a few hours. 2 wraps and 2 drinks at £11 I must say a must visit when in the area.
Small portions,ordered the lamb shawarma with salad and 2x naan for £7.50 and the salad and lamb portion was very small and only enough to fill 1 naan.
The Naan was very nice, made fresh and slightly crisp and staff friendly but let down by the Small portion sizes.
Clean and they make fesh naan anf bun but their shawarma is raw not well cooked.
Loved our shawarma - the bread is freshly made and the salad was top notch. We’ll be back ????????
This is my go to for lunch, the chicken sandwich sharwarma is my favourite made with fresh bread and salad. A relatively healthy option compared to a meal deal.

First visit to King Shawarma and it won’t be my last. Ordered a mixed shawarma in a wrap with salad. Food was delicious, nice salad selection but I just had onion and red cabbage - and their ‘special’ sauce which was only slightly spicy as promised. Very tasty lamb and chicken and the fresh flatbread was lovely. Contrary to some reviews, I thought the portion size was good - especially with a price of £4.50. But the option to ‘go large’ would be nice for those with a bigger appetite.
I’d hoped to try the Falafels as well but they had none when I went in, probably a good idea as the shawarma itself filled me nicely.
I’m in the area tomorrow so will probably be popping in there again.
5 star place, top fella who runs it. Accidentally left some money there and he gave me it back next time I came. Food is delicious and healthy. We eat after gym regularly. Very nice aesthetic and very affordable also.
Pizza was really nice, just a plain cheese and tomato but reasonable price of £3.50...limited in choice of toppings is the only downside.
