I have ordered food from here several times and it has mostly been good, however last night was a different story. My daughters had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, 3 hrs later both were complaining of feeling sick. One vomited on her bedroom floor, the other had stomach cramps and a temperature.
It seems after reading the reviews on here that they are not the only ones who have been affected by illness after eating here.
This place is fast becoming Lytham’s very own ‘Terrible Chinese Takeaway’. The food quality is far below average in comparison to other chinease takeaways in the area. It’s expensive for the poor quality of food you’ll receive but even if it was to a good standard, they don’t deliver and insist on cash only payment’s which is concerning from a business legitimacy point of view and also inconvenient to locals and visitors alike.
Just had a takeaway from here used to be very good but we were utterly disappointed with the quality of the food the ribs were overdone and dry I had the sweet and sour chicken which again was overdone dry and stringy to the point was making me heave cos couldn't swallow it needless to say it went in the bin we definitely won't be going again for the price paid the quality is very poor
Very good food but I cannot believe or understand why you have to pay cash!!!
This is 2023 and yet you cannot pay for your food through a debit/credit card.
I have spoken to a number of friends and they don't go to Kai's Kitchen because they don't accept debit/credit cards.
I really wish they would accept electronic payments rather than just cash - it is simply crazy!!!
Normally good food but going downhill a bit lately. Collected my order few weeks ago only to find main dish missing, then on collection tonight, chips were barely warm..ruins the rest of the meals really ..£30+ and not good at all. Standards falling rapidly.
Lovely food great people. I had to pay by cash, which i didn't know, and didn't quite have the money. Only pennies but it wasn't a problem. Thanks guys.
Orderd £55 worth of food everything was disgusting the worst Chinese or any takeaway I've ever had every single dish was terrible only the chips were ok
Food is good but the phone manner is abrupt and strange. No hello, goodbye or thanks. Obviously they're trying to be efficient but it feels like you're speaking to a machine. Some friendliness wouldn't go amiss.
