Watch out the workmanship
I took my car to change Brake Disc and pads.
I left the car around 0900 hrs and collected around 1500 hrs. It was Thursday. At weekend, I drove from Stamford to Maidstone and back. On Monday when I parked at Peterborough hospital to drop my daughter off, a gentleman came and inform me that my rear wheels are wobbly. I took the car straight back to the K Tech Bretoon garage. I got out and checked the wheels when I found out that one of the wheel was missing 3 wheelnuts. I was shocked and thankful that nothing happened to us on the motoways over the weekend. The poor workmanship clearly put us at a severe risk. I went to see the manager at the garage but he was not there. I spoke to the senior mechanic who was so unprofessional not even acknowledge that it was serious mistake on their part. Not even apologies when I asked whether they have any assurance process in place. His answer was I do not have eyes at the back to see how people are doing. No empathy at all that the a serious accident could have happned. When I challenged him that they put our life at risk he simply said that nothing happened though so we fix it then issue over. Once they put the wheelnuts, I went back to collect the car and saw the manager expecting a sincere apology for their shortfall. But no he was boasting for getting the wheelnuts and fixing it for free. No apology what so ever. He blame their tool that made me so angry. The human error happens, I fully understand that but when they do, taking the responsibility and apologies for that is the minimum courtesy I was expecting which I did not get.
Every time I will check reviews before going to any shop but due to emergency without checking reviews i booked appointment and then i realised after they took all money and not repaired. first they will ask you need to change parts need to order but they won’t order they will some adjustments and will tell you lies. after 2-3 days you will get same problem to your car. For me in just 1 day my car got many complaints and i repaired in other mechanic shop. All are cheaters. don’t have option to give 0 stars or else i supposed to give 0.

Avoid this place like the plague
Belt snapped on me caused by a crank shaft oil leak, RAC recommended them as an approved garage, wish i read the other reviews first
They sorted the belt, but also "did" things that didn't need doing.
New fuel lines and diesel filter were added (but these were changed a year prior) and they left the old fuel lines just chilling under the hood ontop of the engine?
My radiator antenna went missing leaving a hole in my roof allowing water in
Centre cap from one of my wheels missing
Radio code needed resetting (not a major issue, but would be nice you know)
Mud on my fresh carpet mats
Black Grease stains on the side panels and hood, mind you my van is white, not even the local car wash could take them out (only now, 6-7 months later after a recent full valet they're no longer visible)
Overpriced, and charging for work I bet they didn't do
They didn't even sort out the oil leak, so I left with the new belt getting oil on it and all over my engine. FRM Automotive sorted it all out this week, hence why I'm reviewing them now
They're going to mess with the wrong person some day
**WARNING** DO NOT USE ** Took my car there for a new timing belt and they said they did it at a cost of £370. They also said I need a tensioner belt doing. Took my car to a better GARAGE and they showed me that they replaced the tensioner belt and that did not need doing and the noise was coming from the timing belt. They took the cover off and the timing belt HAD NEVER BEEN CHANGE OR TOUCHED EVEN THE BOLTS!!! SHOCKING REALLY SHOCKING - 1 STAR FOR USING A CAN OF BELT DRESSING SPRAY TO HIDE THE FAULT **The photos below are the old stuff that they said they replaced ...
AVOID AT ANY COST
Water pump and cam belt change.
Three times job was re-scheduled due to the staffing problem/ on the third occasion they could not complete the job - had to leave car overnight. I advised them I need to catch flight next day so they confirmed job next day will be done 12:30 max. Job was not done at ll. Had to leave car for a week there. Came back ... car is in worst shape than before. Brakes - non existent. Changing gear from 2 to 3 - something cracking in the engine. Absolutely nightmare - Stay away from this garage.
I suspect nothing was done!!!
They are the cheapest for a reason. I will be taking car to Renault Service to actually see what they have done to the car as it is undriveable now. Shame !!!!
This garage is a complete shambles. They are frauds and liars. They took my car in for an ABS sensor to be done on the car through the RAC however told RAC they did the alternator which is something that has not been fitted to my car. They had my car in for a week for this supposed sensor that they are saying they didn’t not fit. Why did they have my car?!!! Why are they lying?? No one ever answers the phone when you need an update, they are very unprofessional and never call you back. I was put back in a car with my 8 month baby and was told it’s safe to drive when I could have ended up in a serious accident, I was told to stop driving the car immediately by another garage. DO NOT use them they are liars and have the worst service ever!!! I don’t even give them a 1 star they should be avoided at all cost!!
I took my car in February 2023 for them to fix my gearbox selector tbey said it will take a week for the part to come....... Well it took 5 weeks for the part to come after they failed in communicating this to me I was left ringing them down getting false promises of 'yes it will arrive tomorrow and we will give you a call' after the part arrived they fitted the gear box and suddenly realised that they had to change another part on it.
So about 3 weeks later the part arrived and then once they fitted that they said they could not fix the coding.... And they had to get a electrical specialist to fix this..... Which again took about another 2 weeks after all of that the had a cheek to try charge me for all this extra work..... Which I had no intention of paying and didnt and whilst they had my vehicle they broke some trimming around my gear stick which they had another cheek to tell me to pay for a part of the car 'THEY BROKE' but I must pay for it.
So in total it took 3 months for them to fix my car and I am still waiting for the trimming to be delivered.
Basically NEVER go to this garage.... Your car will have more chance of less damage driving into a wall the giving it to them to fix.
Stay away stay far away pay the extra money and go to a garage or main dealer.
Stay way from K Tech the worst mechanics I have used awful.
Went to the Bretton garage after being sent there after the RAC engineer carried out a temp repair on my car. The RAC engineer called K Tech and they assured him they would either repair my car today or it would be tomorrow. After getting to the garage I explained my situation to the receptionist who was rude and she said we definitely aren't going to do it today nor tomorrow you're looking at the end of next week. This comes from a RAC approved garage. But when I got the the garages 3 mechanics was stood looking at 1 car talking to each other now even I know it doesn't take 3 mechanics to do 1 car. Certainly wouldn't recommend this garage what so ever.
