Dr. Renton is an exceptional dentist who truly goes above and beyond for his patients. Dr. Renton's expertise and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of his work. He takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and address any concerns, putting me at ease during my appointments. Not only is he highly skilled, but his compassionate approach makes each visit a positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Renton to anyone in need of dental care.
Superb dentist. Especially good with nervous patients (I'm not one), endless patience and deep empathy. Great sense of humour too. Like all NHS practices they are oversubscribed, you will drop off the register if you don't go regularly.They are too busy to chase you. Make a follow up appointment when you leave and then keep it. Simple.
I was dropped from the practice. It's impossible to make appointments by phone as they do not answer and do not respond to messages on the answer phone. It is deliberate and the answer message is deceiving as they have no intention of contacting you back. I clearly left my phone number numerous times. Since losing a large filling during covid I have tried countless times to get in contact by phone to make an appointment and left multiple messages to no avail. Today I decided to attend in person and took time from work to do so. I was advised that I had been 'removed' due to length of time since last needing treatment. Firstly, you can't even make an appointment and even more so during the pandemic and secondly, coming less often puts less strain on the NHS that we are told can't keep up. I was told "I don't know what to suggest" and sent on my way. If you are an existing patient here then make sure you call in, in person, regularly. Don't make the same 'mistake' I made. It's a shame to leave a bad review because the service I did have here was excellent.

We have been registered with Mr Renton for over 15 years and would highly recommend. A visit to the dentist is never pleasant but he is very calm and professional and puts you at ease. He is great with children and explained to my son at length how to use an X-Ray works and was gentle and reassuring to my teen when he had to have extractions for braces.
My friend recommended this practice to me and i have to say that it's been excellent.
There are no frills, the waiting room is basic but you are never there long and it's clean. In return for this you don't pay the ridiculously unnecessary high prices that other dentists charge.
From my experience i feel Mr Renton is very professional and knows his stuff.
