Lovely coffee, using Dark Woods Coffee beans locally sourced. The coffee was made well, prices good, staff really friendly. You can easily park outside. I’ll definitely be back again, so nice to have good local coffee shops.
Cute and cozy café nestled in the village serving a wide selection of tasty food and lovely hot and cold drinks. The staff are nice and the décor is very homely. One of the big downsides for me is that they allow dogs inside, I'm very much not a dog person and when they're barking and fussing to get to your food it's annoying af. I wish the upstairs would be a dog free area but it isn't. Another glaring downside is that on two separate occasions we've been forgotten about, the first time I was there for almost an hour without being served to which I just left, and on the second occasion we had to go up to the till to order after waiting for about 30 minutes downstairs, in both occasions it wasn't even that busy. Overall an okay little café, probably the best option out of the selection in Kirkburton but it's far from perfect and it's very dog centric, not client centric. As a person with a friend who is allergic to dogs it very much writes this café off as a place to meet up and eat which is a shame. I really hope the owners will make the upstairs dog free, I know I'm not the only person who would appreciate this. I understand you're dog friendly, but please, be human friendly too, not everyone likes dogs or having them where we eat.
Such a cute cafe, such lovely staff and absolutely amazing food - popped in while I was waiting to be picked up and I had a white hot chocolate and a halloumi and avocado bagel, both were unbelievable. I’ll be back again soon

Just had brunch at Joy's cafe. Very impressed with the small cafe. Lovely decor and fresh feel to the venue. Food and coffee delicious. I was very impressed with how they accommodated for dogs as well as the dogs treats ????

Me and my mum had a lovely breakfast here on Tuesday. Food was absolutely top tier and the coffee was delicious. Had a great full English breakfast, and my mum really enjoyed her F.A.B. such a pleasant atmosphere and kelsey and Joanne were super lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend!!
