We are on holiday in Cornwall and had a drive out, came across this fish shop and the food was amazing! Me and my partner had fish and chips, I did question the price at 1st but then when I tasted the fish I didn't think we paid enough!. Best fish we have ever tasted. The only problem i now find is its a 4 hour drive from home ????
New management!! Avoid!! Worst fish and chips We ever eaten. Food wasn't fresh!! They used frozen fish and sea food to prepare. Food was oily and small portions, looked terrible. I was charged £2.40 for 3 in 1 Nescafé coffee from packet, they don't have proper coffee machine. Curry sauce made from the powder, tested awful and salthy, I was unable to eat it. I wasn't offered any ketchup, mayonnaise or tartar sauce, probably they charge extra for it. Poor quality of service by seaside. Waste of money and our time.
Well we wanted fish and chips for lunch and found this spot. Let's be honest it's not bistro cuisine it's sea side fish and chips but good honest food. Great views of Fistral beach and I felt good value with the family meal deal of 2 kids meals with drink and sauce and 2 adults fish and chips plus 2 cans for £27.50 pretty good. I know back home it's £9 for one portion of fish and chips so happy with the price. Fish was fresh and large white flakes, chips as good as you get from new potatoes and nice crispy batter. Staff pleasant too. Tables were clean enough and toilets too. Thanks ???? for lovely lunch all
The chips here were quite bland compared to harbour chippy and flounders, I had to wait a very long time for the food I ordered and whilst waiting the environment felt very hostile with staff including what might of been the manager/owner.
However on a positive note a young blonde boy was very friendly and helpful, and wanted to go above and beyond, also a dark haired boy was very good at keeping it clean. These 2 were truly an asset to your team and you should be thankful for these 2 as hope they get the recognition they deserve.
Fantastic fish &chips right on the beach. Plenty of seating area with sea views. I would highly recommend this shop.
Not the best chippy was a bit pricey and the service was not to good food left on counter to go cold and place was dirty wouldn’t recommend see pictures below ????
Customer service was shocking. Asked for a skinless fish and it came with skin on, went and asked them to change it and they said what do you want me to do about it it's your problem no ours. It was just disgusting. The food wasn't the best I could of done better in the caravan
