Stood waiting for ages as cook everything to order (which isn't a bad thing), but once got served they had hardly anything they were advertising, no fish left for kids ,and only extra large fish for adults, no meal deals left that they were advertising all over the walls either. This was only 1:45pm on a Saturday. The two ladies weren't welcoming at all and made us feel very uncomfortable about not been able to order anything. Definitely give this place a swerve.
Excellent. The two ladies were very professional and pleasant. I had a literally huge cheese and onion rissole with gravy chips. Spot on, really tasty and at a very reasonable price.
Fresh fish cooked to order with nice crispy batter. Oil may have been used a bit too much maybe. Chips nice as was fishcake

I went to this place and ordered 2 portions of chips, 2 jumbo plain sausages and a pot of curry sauce, they then forgot the second portion of chips and sausage which I had to pay an extra £3.40 even though I already payed £6.10 I wouldn't recommend this food shop.
Excellent fish and chip and a good fair price .and fish lovely and white and a decent size ..would definitely go back
By the gods this place is amazing, a little bit pricey but what the hell, a fry up makes the day, week, year & if your feeling lucky with a fish supper take some home for the Mrs ????
We normally use another Chip Shop near the Harbour but after a couple of Greasy disappointments from there we tried Jim’s! A fish box and a sharing nugget box! Everything was spot on????????????????????????
