If you're in search of a place to grab a mouth-watering and quick meal, this spot is an excellent option. They offer an impressive variety of patties, vegetable stews, drinks, coffee, and desserts to choose from. Even if you're a vegetarian or vegan, you'll have plenty of options available to choose from. I opted for the saltfish and ackee patty, which was delightful with a perfect amount of spiciness. They offer indoor seating for a small fee, and the service is incredibly fast with friendly staff. Overall, it's a great place to satisfy your hunger and enjoy a delicious Jamaican meal.
A great place to stop off for a quick bite. Good selection of patties, plus stews, drinks and desserts. Several options for veggies and vegans, we went for the vegan 'beef' patty which was nice and spicy. Couple of tables inside which you pay a little extra for. Fast service friendly staff.
Popped into this Jamaican Patty store because I couldn’t resist when walking by. Ordered the spicy been and jerk chicken patty. The crust was so flaky and the filling hit the spot. Perfect amount of spice and flavor and plus it had a lot of filling which I loved. The two ladies were so kind and friendly. It’s a small place to just hop in and get take away.
Stumbled upon this gem by chance when roaming around London and I’m so glad I did. Ended up trying a few (traditional beef, jerk chicken, vegetable and vegan) and I can conclude that they are all delicious but the winner for me was the vegan. The pastry was soft but was still flaky and the vegan meat pieces had amazing flavour and the perfect amount of spice. It was so good I had to go back again the next day!
This is Central London's best kept secret and I can safely say these patty's are even better than the ones I've had in Jamaica, by a substantial amount. Incredible food and run by an incredible lady. Try it, you won't regret it!
I’m Jamaican, and the curry goat patty was one of the best patties I’ve ever had in my life.
The filling was absolute perfection.
The curry goat meal however had absolutely no flavor. No salt, no seasoning. Disappointed. The staff: One young lady was very helpful, the other seemed barely alive. Slow and generally unhelpful while the other one did all the work. The patty would keep me returning every day though.
As a hundreds small shop in this district, Jamaica Patty is an international food provider that serves delicious patties. I tate chicken, and rwo type of beef. We were four, and although we had had lunch, we decided to eat more. All of us were satisfied. I believe the price and quality are perfect. They are not as friendly as may be other business on that street but it worthes to have a delicious Patty there.
Patties different from Jam-down, yet the same. A fusion that is arguably better than the original. And whether you prefer original or JPC that is up to you. I had the spicy beef only. Not as spicy as back home. I would have loved to have tried the other flavors but did not have time, visiting from USA. JPC has been around since 2013, I believe is what they said. They also sell Blue Mountain Coffee! blouse and skirt!
The Jenglish seem to love the place, seen.
