Last minute booking but Grace the owner was more than helpful! Perfect pitch for the night overlooking the Menai straight.
The shower is the best I’ve found on a campsite! Extremely clean! 20 min walk into town but make sure you take a torch with you for the return walk once dark, it literally is pitch black!
Great location and near to castle "as long as the bridge is in operation". £40 per night is very very steep for a grass pitch (big field) with no equipment. Facilities are clean but very small. For cyclists this is a nice area.
Site is very well maintained. It’s a working farm so be prepared for tractors and plenty of ‘night time mooing’ If you are used to the countryside then these noises won’t bother you. Showers were very clean and hot. The owner was lovely and welcoming. One of the washing up sinks didn’t give hot water but that was a small inconvenience. Location is lovely to go on the beach for shell collecting and a short walk or cycle into Caernarfon via the swing bridge. We also visited a lovely small church that’s just over a mile away. Overall a very pleasant stay
Wonderful Campsite. We visited and stayed on a grass pitch with no facilities. Not a problem for our solar motorhome. The field led down to the seashore with Anglesey in view. The towers and flags of Caenarfon Castle could also be seen, only a 15 minute walk away. The owners proudly showed us the new mobile home/ toilet block. This was well tended and never showed any sign of any use, although we saw many users. The caravan site is shielded away and is more regimentated . We thoroughly annoyed our stay and visiting Caernarfon. Its top marks from these happy campers.
One of the best sites we have stayed at. Myself husband and our 2 dogs stayed for 3 nights with EHU.|Great location, great local pubs ( The Anglesey is the best for watching the sunset of an evening). Spotted some dolphins at Dinas Dallas beach.|Snowdon a 20 minute drive away. Well worth an early morning wake up to see the sunrise.||Grace is amazing, very welcoming. Site is very peaceful. An idyllic place to relax and chill.|
Lovely site offering serviced and off grid pitches. Very well located only 20min coastal walk to Caernarvon. Did have an issue with our pitch but very quickly and satisfactorily resolved by Grace. Would not hesitate to recommend ????
Just returned from a fabulous few days at this campsite. The owners were so helpful and friendly and ensured both the grounds and facilities were kept in excellent condition at all times. Beautifully situated with mountains behind and within easy walking distance along the Menai Strait to the historic town and castle of Caernarfon. Will definitely be going back.
Absolute gem. As they we were busy we had to park up next to the barn due to needing a hard standing. Stunning view across the Menai straights over to Anglesey. 20 minute steady walk into Caernarfon along a quiet road by the side of the sea
Grace who runs the site is lovely, can't do enough for you .
We haven't left yet and already looking forward to our next visit
