Location was great for the event we were attending at wales Sport Centre and also close to city centre which was walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the whole stay, nothing negative to say!
Location fantastic, managed to take the last parking space so get there early, but there is parking on the street next to The Beverley, so no need to worry too much. As you walk in, the place is welcoming, the staff were friendly and helpful. It had everything I wanted, a well equipped bar, the smell of tasty food and SPORTS on tv's scattered around the pub / dining area. The room, large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast - fantastic...could not fault.
What a lovely hotel. So welcoming, clean, comfortable and in a fab spot. The shower was new (and brilliant), and the bed was really nice. We didn’t want a full breakfast so were able to have coffee and toast for £2. I highly recommend this place and it even has private, free parking.
Very nice property to approach. Welcoming staff, very clean, overall a really nice experience.
Down sides - there was what sounded like a noisy extractor fan cover flapping around (may or may not have been on your site, I don't know), creaky floorboards from the room above but it's an old building.
Minor issues in my opinion. Would i stay again? Yes, and I'd bring the family.

My husband and I stayed on Valentine's night in the hotel and had a meal in the Beverly. I loved the decor of both. We had an amazing stay and the staff complimented my dress AND were amazing our entire stay. Until the brekkie, but the night before was over and above with their service, so I cannot deduct a star.
The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was really spacious and good. Great location and reasonable price.The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The room was warm and there were no temperature controls. Breakfast was reasonably priced though the food could have been served hot. Parking wasn't guaranteed and we were lucky to find a spot on the street outside. All in all, we liked the hotel and the staff.
Staff were really great. Breakfast great. Walls of room so thin they may as well have been a curtain. Could hear the guy in the room next door snoring in second night, may as well have got up with the guys the night before.
